Why Does My Candle Form a Tunnel When It Burns?Tunnelling in candles is quite common, it is also known as a “melt ring.” It happens when a candle burns only from the centre creating thick waxy residual around the walls of a jar candle or a pillar candle because the wax did not melt all the way across the edges. To prevent tunnelling in any candle, let your candles burn for at least one hour per inch of the diameter and let the wax melt pool reach across the edges.

Buying cheap Scented CandlesSometimes we might get lured by the appearance of a scented candle that is available to you at a cheaper price & then we regret the purchase because the beautifully scented candle turns into a disastrous mess. You should trust us with this one that cheaper candles contain low quality waxes and chemical-based fragrance oils that could be hazardous to your health. Premium Candles will never come at a lower price because they are made with premium quality products.

What number of Scented Candles Should I Burn in My Room?People often complain that there is no fragrance in a candle. So, the total number of aromatic candles you should be burning so that the entire room smells good depends upon the size of the room. One scented candle might be enough for a small room or bathroom, for a larger room or hallway, you should burn at least two to three scented candles together.

Why Soy Candles are more Expensive than Normal Candles?Soy candles are made of soy wax, which is a vegetable wax produced from the oil of soybeans. Soy wax is natural, biodegradable, has a strong scent throw and lasts for twice as compared to an average paraffin wax candle. The natural properties and premium quality make soy candles a little expensive than average scented candles, so this makes them worth the price.

Why I Cannot Smell My Scented Candle? This question tops the list. Some people complain that they cannot smell the fragrance in their room. To help them out I simply asked what are you doing with your candles, it became evident that many were burning the candle for just 15-20 min that too in a large room and immediately extinguished the candle when they could not smell the fragrance. Firstly, you need to burn a scented candle for a minimum of two hours before judging the fragrance, secondly you could try to burn it in a small room and then check the fragrance.

What are the Different Categories of Candles and Why It Should Matter to Me?As we consider quality & comfort before buying shoes that we wear daily & when it comes to buying a pair of thongs for the beach, we just grab any pair because we do not need them regularly. The same goes with candles, there are distinct types of candles, & each serves a different purpose. Pillar candles come with maximum burning hours, they will not run out easily when you burn them regularly, tealights candles come with shortest burning hours, they are the best pick when you want to create a nice ambiance at night with a lot of candlelight. Jar candles come with lids, and they are the best ones for placing on your furniture as there is no risk of spillage & lastly designer candles, they will help you in creating centrepiece’s & enhancing the decor of your home.
